I’ve got drawers full of old vintage effects, many that are collectible. I don’t use ‘em anymore. I don’t have to. The OD1 and Blues settings on the ME70 cover the same territory as a vintage Tubescreamer, except the entire boss me-70 at guitar center costs less than one vintage Tubescreamer. And it’s still under warranty. Likewise, the built in compressor on the ME70 gives me plenty of squish, but no “pumping” sound. And the delays are amazing. It’s just a great pedal. Combine the sounds, size, and ease of use with the fact that it will run on batteries if needed, and I really think it’s the best single pedal I’ve ever owned.

Ive had the opportunity to play 2 of the Luna models, have recorded with them, and they are very fine guitars. (Fauna Phoenix, and Fauna Dolphin). One of the things about these guitars is they are designed for the female player.
The Luna Phoenix was my favorite of the 2, and has great onboard electronics that recorded very well. The inlay on this guitar is hard to find on guitars costing several hundreds more, and the fit and finish was right on. Here are some cheap luna guitars available on the net.
The roto cases have a removable back “door” rather than a clamshell cover. Not as water and dust resistant as the ATA style. Also, the door affords less room to access back connectors. The early roto cases had molded in handles rather than inset ones, not sure about the currrent ones. IMO, SKB cases are only worthy for basic car transport, or racking stuff that doesn’t get moved a lot. They don’t truck pack well, the hardware gets tweaked easily, and the mounting rails are sketchy for
heavy power amps and the like. I got my 7 exciting skb at musicians friend , and they’ve served me pretty well. I’d hate to see what happens if I ever drop one though.
When my friend got his Alto, he also looked at the protec cases at Guitar Center. He got the most wonderful case for his Alto. It has very plush, thick fabric all over the inside, much plusher and thicker than the felt in other cases I have seen. The “fur” is about 1″ deep if you draw it out, and the horn sinks into it..
The case is not totally open and empty inside with a notch for the end of the horn to fit into and a small partition for stuff like most cases. You open the case and the surface that the fabric is on is flush with the opening of the case. There is a part where the shape of a saxophone has been indented into it, which holds the horn snugly on all sides, but underneath the thick furry soft stuff it is not hard. It has an amount of give or springiness that almost feels like that padding that you put underneath carpet. Of course, if you push hard enough you will hit something underneath. It almost feels like it was carved out of a solid piece of wood, but it’s way too light.
I’ve loved every second of playing with my Korg Monotron this year. Especially when hooked up to Echoboy. I purchased my korg monotron at guitar center. But the time has come to put some accurate takes down and my fudge fingers keep getting in the way. I’ve tried a plectrum (pretty good for expression but not so accurate) and an ear-bud (accurate but flimsy). So I tried a regular pen, and it works.
Hearing someone sing and play the guitar can help us stop and forget our worries for a while especially if the singer is good. There is quite a difference hearing their performance live and quite relaxing if acoustic versions of the songs are played. We can hear clearly the tunes they create when they hit the strings of their acoustic guitars like the dean guitars at guitar center and follow their beat. The soothing sound they create lasts even after they are done with their performance.
When different instruments are used by bands, they try to set the volume level of each instrument to match the others so that each of them can be heard. A lot of times, even the sound from the microphone are adjusted. A lot of professionals use mixers to easily adjust the sound. It can be really helpful when the band is already playing and individual sound cannot be adjusted. A person monitoring the actual output can adjust it through a mixer. There are different mixers that can be used like the Behringer DJ Mixers at Musicians Friend. The sound can be balanced easily and other sounds can also be mixed.
Sometimes, there are certain guitars that people want to buy and own. They look for a certain brand like top les paul guitars because they like the style and the sound it makes when they are playing their music. It would be a perfect gift for someone look for a special guitar but has not bought or found it yet. It would be certain that they would be playing that guitar right after he or she receives it.
We don’t often see people playing the clarinet. They are mostly just seen in orchestras or in concerts that feature them. But there are people who play and love that instrument that they take good care of them especially when they carry their instruments around. A great idea for a gift to someone who plays a clarinet is a marvelous clarinet bag at WWBW. The bag is designed for a clarinet and would also protect it from rain and moisture. The person will be able to bring the instrument anywhere without worrying about it getting wet from rain or when it is too cold.
Whatever type of music we may like we still would like clear and crisp sound coming from the speakers. It is really preferred by those who like Jazz and Country music. The clear and clean sounds coming from the amplifier like the Fender Amps can really make listening enjoyable and playing the guitar fun. The combo amp can deliver smooth treble and higher power handling. It is something to be experienced for listening pleasure.
